ABOUT ME
Welcome, my name is Jessica De Santiago. I am 18 years old and currently a senior at the Academies at South Mountain. Growing up I have always loved art. I used to dream of being an artist or a ballerina. I love drawing, painting, ceramics, and dancing. I first began dancing in the 6th grade when I took hip hop classes at my elementary school. While I wasn't very good, it was where I first performed on a stage. Once I got to high school, I signed up for dance class. I started out freshman year in the beginning class and am now part of the company class. Being in dance has impacted me so much. It has helped me express my ideas and learn how to work well with my peers. In the future I hope to continue to explore my talents and pursue a career in the arts.
FUTURE GOALS
I am excited about graduating high school. I have applied to many colleges the past few months. I was accepted into most of them, including San Diego State University and Northern Arizona University. However I am happy to say I will be attending Arizona State University in fall of 2022. I will be pursuing a bachelor's degree in Art, as well as a minor in Dance. I am really proud of all the hard work I've put in over the years. I hope to continue and expand my talents and put them to good use in the future.
